Ode to my Sis

Hi Guys!!! In the spirit of sharing I wanted to share a little of my sister's work with you. She's the person who constantly encourages me to crochet new things, start this blog, and open my Etsy site. We're twins too! While I've always been into the fiber arts, but sister's passion has been clay. When we were in high school she crafted a 1.5 foot tall replica of her own head. The head still sits on my parents' fireplace hearth and still looks just like her. Now she works with her husband, who is a potter, adding her own touches to his items and also sculpting animals and items of her own. I personnaly have an entire dish set that my husband and I purchased from them last year as well as a set of coasters, cups and earring.

Who was your greatest inspiration growing up? One if mine was my sister. So in the spirit of sharing here are just a few of my favorites of her creations (See more at http://www.etsy.com/shop/sagerocky):

Share who inspires you most and I might post it on my blog with a link to your page! Post on Facebook or Twitter.

A Fishy Predicament

I've been eaten by a fish!!!

This is not a well known fact, but fish are carnivorous and they love brains...mmmmmm brains. I'm thinking I need to add some eyes and a mouth, but it's a fun idea. I'll post again when it's all finished and you can tell me what you think.

I'm also working on a monkey hat this weekend. Should be hilarious regardless of whether it looks good or not :)

Next weeks goal is to post every day and get back into my routine. (*crossing fingers*)

In the mean time, have a fabulously sunny and enjoyable weekend!
