Green Crochet Earings with Beads
I will admit that I have no head for jewelry. The above really astounds me. And what's even more impressive is the above earings are made entirely with single crochet stitch.
This photo was kindly donated by Etsy Shop owner Mary, who was taught by her grandmother as a child to knit and crochet and who loves working 'small.' The above earrings are not the limit of Mary's talents, she makes a limitless array of earings, rings and necklaces.
The beads are what catches my eyes most. When adding the single crochet stitches you pull a loop inside the bead, then work your single crochet as normal. This can be difficult if you need to fold your thread in half and shove it through the bead, but Mary makes it look effortless.
As if we couldn't guess from the above handiwork, Mary's favorite stitch is the single crochet:
"I love to do tiny things, mix the colors, change the angles, add beads. It's amazing what you can do with just the single crochet stitch."
